This two-pack of Bissell flat belts (Part #18-3111-00) provides replacement drive belts for Bissell Style 7, 9, 10, 12, and 14 upright vacuums. The belt runs from the motor shaft to the brushroll and keeps the brush turning against the carpet.
When a vacuum stops picking up or the brushroll spins sluggishly, a worn belt is almost always the reason. Flat belts stretch with heat until they slip on the shaft and can no longer turn the roller at full speed. A fresh belt restores brushroll rotation so the machine deep-cleans carpet again.
