Part 1626502 is the flat drive belt used across two Bissell carpet cleaner families: the TurboClean DualPro Pet in models 3067, 30673, 3109 and 3072, and the PowerForce PowerBrush Pet XL 3071. Our fitment data adds the 3071C and 3072C.
Flat belts drive by friction, so they fail gradually rather than all at once. Heat glazes the inner face, the rubber stretches, and the belt begins to slip on the motor pulley. The brush roll turns slowly, then only with the machine tipped back, then not at all. Most people smell hot rubber before they notice the brush has stopped.
Loop the new belt over the motor pulley and brush roll, make sure it sits square in its track, and spin the roller by hand before closing the machine up.
