Brush roll for the Bissell CleanView and related bagless uprights, part 1611230, measuring 13-1/8 inches end to end. That measurement is the quickest way to confirm you have the right one, because Bissell used several similar-looking rollers across this generation.
Worn bristles are easy to miss, since they wear evenly. Lay a straight edge across the roller: new bristles stand proud of the end caps, worn ones sit level with them, and at that point the roller is brushing the carpet rather than beating it. The other two signs are debris left in a strip behind the machine, and a roller that has stopped turning because thread has bound up the bearing.
It fits the 1813, 1819, 1820, 1823 and 1825, the 2252 through 2260 range, the 2316 and 2316C, the 3197A and the 3333.
