This replacement Type UB3 belt keeps the brush roll on your Kenmore canister power nozzle spinning at the correct speed for effective carpet cleaning, and is designed to fit the Kenmore 3120. It transfers drive from the nozzle motor to the brush roll that agitates carpet fibers.
Vacuum belts stretch and wear over time, and a tired belt lets the brush roll slow down, leaving dirt embedded in the carpet or giving off a burning-rubber smell. Replacing it every three to six months, or sooner at the first sign of slipping, keeps pickup strong.
