The Eureka beater bar (part 35664B) is the short VG-1 agitator for Eureka VG-1 uprights and power nozzles. This bar carries the bristle and beater rows that thump and sweep the carpet, lifting embedded grit up into the airflow as the roll turns.

As a beater bar runs, its bristles wear down and its beater strips round off, so it skims over the pile instead of digging into it. Worn agitation leaves carpet looking dull and holds dirt down in the fibers. A fresh short VG-1 bar restores full agitation and pickup on carpeted floors.
