The long beater bar for the VG-1 upright vacuum and power nozzle spans the full cleaning width of the brush roll, agitating carpet fibers to dislodge embedded dirt and debris that suction alone cannot lift. It is the primary working element in the VG-1's two-bar brush roll design.

Over time the bristles on any beater bar wear down, and the difference shows in your carpet. Dull, matted pile and grit that survives repeated passes are the usual signs. A fresh bar restores the flicking action that brings dirt up out of the fibers and into the airflow.

This bar fits the VG-1 upright and the matching power nozzle. Since the long and short bars share the same duty cycle, inspect both during a brush roll service and replace them together for even performance.
