This 16-inch beater bar is a replacement brush roll for the Eureka VG-I and restores active agitation to the cleaning head. The bar's bristles sweep and flex the carpet as it spins, loosening embedded dirt so the airflow can carry it away.
Brush roll bristles flatten, fray, and wear unevenly over time, and a spent beater bar drags across the carpet without lifting much, leaving a visibly poorer clean. Fitting a fresh 16-inch bar returns full bristle contact and deep-cleaning agitation.
