This replacement motor bearing (part #10-9-9921) fits the NSS M-1 dry-only tank vacuum motor. The bearing supports the armature shaft and lets it spin freely at high speed.

A bearing that is dry, pitted, or worn produces grinding noise, vibration, and heat, and if it seizes it can stop the motor entirely. Catching a rough bearing early prevents damage to the shaft and windings.
