This bin gasket (Part #195002) seals the motor compartment of your Beam central vacuum and serves as the motor seal between the bin and the power unit. It fits Beam 295, 395875, 2875, and 2900, Beam SC295, SC395, and SC3500, and Electrolux PU3900.
When this gasket hardens and deteriorates, air bypasses the filtration and fine dust escapes into the living space instead of staying in the canister. A tight seal here also ensures full suction reaches the cleaning end rather than leaking at the motor. A sound gasket restores both the seal and the airflow.
