This base with wheels is a replacement lower housing for the Kenmore 7202 power nozzle, carrying the nozzle across the floor on its integrated wheels. It forms the sealed underside of the nozzle where suction meets the surface.
A cracked base or a broken clip lets air leak, adds rattling noise, and drops cleaning performance, while worn wheels make the nozzle drag. Fitting a fresh base restores the sealed airflow path and returns smooth, even travel across the floor.
