The Kenmore bag supporter assembly (Part #KC11KDPTZR01) is a replacement mount for canister models 116.23204112C, 116.23206112C, 116.23207310C, 116.53207311C, 116.23405212C, 116.23406310C, and 116.23485112C. It holds the dust bag on the inlet and keeps its collar sealed against the duct.
A supporter that is cracked or worn lets the bag hang loose or seat crooked, which breaks the collar seal. Dust then leaks from the compartment and suction drops as air slips past the bag. A sound assembly seats the bag square and airtight so filtration and airflow return to normal.
