The bag holder (Part #B338-50B4) is a replacement for the Riccar Prima and PrimaP canisters and the Simplicity Wonder and WonderP. It is the internal frame that seats the paper bag correctly and keeps its collar aligned with the machine's air inlet.
When a bag holder cracks or warps, the bag no longer seats squarely, the collar can slip, and dust bypasses the seal instead of collecting in the bag. That means weaker suction and grit reaching the motor. A sound holder returns a proper, sealed bag fit.
