This white Nutone Automatic Inlet is a replacement wall valve for central vacuum systems, serving as the connection point where your hose plugs in. Insert the hose and the system activates automatically; remove it and the door closes the port back off. Nothing more is required to start cleaning a room.
Wall inlets should open and close smoothly every single time. When an inlet is cracked, refuses to open properly, or fails to trigger the vacuum, replacing it restores full function to that station without touching the rest of the system.
Standard installation fits most central vacuum piping systems, and this inlet is compatible with Nutone model 0601. It is a small component, but a sound inlet at every station is what keeps a whole-home central vacuum genuinely convenient to use.
