This replacement Panasonic agitator end plate cover (part #AMC01Q-AV0K) fits MC-6300 Series uprights. It caps the end of the brush roll and holds the bearing and support in place at the side of the nozzle.
The cover takes constant vibration and can crack or work loose, which lets the brush roll shift, wobble, or lose its seat. A wobbling agitator scrapes the belt, drops carpet contact, and grinds down the bearing over time. Replacing the cover keeps the roll centered and spinning true.
