For the 6210, this replacement Panasonic agitator shaft (part #AMC57R-V30) is the core axle of the brush roll, carrying the bristles and riding in the end bearings as the roll spins.
A bent or worn shaft makes the brush roll turn unevenly, which brings vibration, noise, and patchy carpet contact where the bristles should be gripping. Damage at the bearing seats can also let the roll bind or seize under load. A straight replacement shaft restores smooth, balanced rotation across the full width of the nozzle.
