The Plastiflex SV8056 45-degree sweep elbow is a central vacuum piping fitting for making gradual directional changes in a built-in vacuum's PVC tubing network. On long runs, a pair of 45s often routes pipe around an obstacle more smoothly than a single hard turn, keeping the airflow, and the debris riding in it, moving freely.
An airtight joint at every fitting is what keeps a central vacuum delivering full suction at each inlet. Even a small leak partway through the network is felt at every hose connection in the house, so use quality fittings and cement connections properly throughout the installation.
This elbow also appears under part number 765517W and is compatible with the Sirena 6201. Confirm your system uses standard central vacuum tubing before you order.
