Bumper clips for the Sanitaire 679, part 53144, six to a pack. The clips are what hold the bumper strip onto the base of the machine, and they take the impact every time the vacuum meets a chair leg or a skirting board.
They break at the barb. Once two or three have gone, the bumper hangs loose or drops off entirely, and from then on it is the plastic base — and the customer's furniture and painted trim — taking the knocks. In a commercial setting that damage adds up quickly.
Six clips are enough to reattach a bumper properly rather than patch one corner. Press each clip until it seats fully into the base. Also listed for the Sanitaire 48869.
